Sonnie Santos

Sonnie Santos has two decades of experience in People Development and Management. He is known most in the academic and online community for his Cyber Wellness (http://websafety.com.ph) campaign for parents and youth. As one of the early but few adopters of the social web, when blogging was still unknown, Sonnie became actively engaged in the online community and established his online reputation. He was the first to cover the 1st computerized national election, PNoys Inauguration, and 1st SONA, courtesy of Blogwatch and Philippine Online Chronicles. He has also received the Best Blog on Advocacy award by the Philippine Blog Awards on 2010 and is the finalist  under the “tech junkie” award of  Globe’s T@tt Awards.

Earlier this year, Sonnie partnered with Yahoo! to promote Internet safety and writes a regular column at Yahoo! titled Safety Net. He is also part of the core team of HR Philippines and the founder of Web Safety Philippines.
